Put on your tin hat, settle into the driving seat of an Abbott tracked gun, an Armoured Personnel Carrier or a six-wheeled Stalwart, and get ready to learn tank driving! Very entertaining and surprisingly challenging, tank driving is an experience that everyone should try.

* Training from an experienced instructor
* As part of a small group you will be given a safety briefing followed by driving experience in up to three different military vehicles
* Allow 2-3 hours for your visit

What happens on the day:
When you arrive, you will normally be asked to sign an indemnity form which will also require parental/guardian signature for under 18's. Your tank driving session will usually be shared with other drivers. You will be given an initial briefing, followed by detailed training from an experienced instructor before being allowed to drive the vehicles yourself under his/her guidance (once you are judged to be safe enough).
Need to know:
* Minimum age 17 (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
* Minimum height 5’ (152cms)
* Maximum height 6’4” (193cms)
* Maximum weight 18 stone (114kgs)
* Seasonal winter closures may apply
* A full UK/European driving license is required
* You should be in reasonable health and able to climb in and out of the vehicles which can be high and awkward to enter
* The tank driving experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
